Book Jaimee. She’s everything you want and more.

After attending nearly 40 weddings over the past five years, I’ve seen every type of photographer- the ones blocking the ceremony, elbowing through the dance floor, barking at the wedding party. Jaimee is the complete opposite, and it made all the difference.

She has this rare ability to be completely laid-back and unobtrusive while still absolutely getting the shot. Our wedding and rehearsal were captured beautifully, and not once did she detract from the moment itself. She blended in, observed, and documented- and the images reflect that.

What also sets Jaime apart is that she’s a planner. We knew exactly what photos were happening and in what order, and she had a system for moving through them efficiently so we weren’t stuck posing while our cocktail hour passed us by.

We got to actually celebrate our wedding day. And when the unexpected happened – my husband’s family missed the pre-ceremony family photos Jaime didn’t miss a beat. She quickly pivoted with a seamless post-ceremony plan that kept everything moving without disrupting the flow of the event. That kind of calm, quick thinking is invaluable on a wedding

Oh, and did I mention we had 18 bridesmaids and 20 groomsmen? A wedding party that size would overwhelm many photographers. Not Jaimee. She handled it with the same professionalism and ease she brought to every other moment of the day.

She is also genuinely incredible at putting people at ease. My husband hates having his photo taken — and after our engagement shoot, he told me it was actually fun. We were chatting and laughing the whole time, completely forgot about the camera. I highly recommend doing the engagement session with her; it gets you comfortable with posing, gives you a feel for being the center of attention, and lets you build a real rapport before the big day.

And the experience doesn’t end at the reception. After the wedding, Jaimee sends a special date night box with Polaroids and sneak peeks — it’s the sweetest touch and keeps the magic of the day alive just a little longer.

We will be treasuring these photos forever. Hire her.

But seriously, we knew we loved you already, but were blown away by your thoughtfulness and professionalism during our wedding weekend. On a related note, my maid of honor is in the process of picking a photographer for her wedding next year. I cannot say enough positive things about Jaimee. She is THE best photographer and an all around awesome person. Jaimee is the kind of person you meet and want to be friends with forever. She is creative, directive, funny and such a pleasure to work with. Our engagement and wedding photos are out of this world.
