Tell us a little about yourself and your family.
My name is Sierra, and I’m a wife, a mom, and a business owner. My husband, Bronz, and I own AZ Outdoor Aesthetics, an outdoor renovation and design company where we help transform the exteriors of our clients’ homes into spaces they truly love. It’s been such a rewarding journey to build a business together doing something we’re passionate about.
I’m also a mom to our 5 year old daughter, Eyrs, who keeps me on my toes every day. She’s full of life, has the biggest personality, and is my little mini me. As a family, we love spending time at home (true home bodies), hosting friends, and constantly dreaming up our next project, whether it’s for a client or our own home.
How would you describe the style of your home in three words?
Evolving.
Natural.
Timeless.
What is one design tip or lesson you’ve learned while creating your home?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is not to chase trends. While it’s fun to appreciate what’s popular, your home should reflect your personality and the way you actually live. My style is always evolving, which can definitely make designing my own home a challenge, but I’ve learned to embrace that. Instead of trying to make every space perfect all at once, I focus on choosing timeless pieces I genuinely love and letting our home evolve naturally over time. I think that’s what gives a home character.
What is your favorite way to gather or entertain in this space?
We love hosting casual nights with friends. Nothing overly planned, just good food, drinks, everyone comfortable, and spending quality time together. The best gatherings always seem to be the simplest ones. But don’t get me wrong, I love a well thoughtout birthday party! Since becoming a mom, hosting has taken on a whole new meaning. My daughter’s birthday parties are some of my favorite days of the year. I love dreaming up a theme, decorating the house and backyard, adding fun props and little details, and creating a space that feels magical for her. Seeing our friends and family gathered in our home, celebrating is what makes this house feel so special.
Is there a piece of art, furniture, or decor in your home that has a special story behind it?
Honestly, it’s not one specific piece, it’s our home as a whole. We bought it in 2019 when we were just 20 and 21 years old, and it looked completely different than it does today. We’ve transformed the exterior and interior, completely reimagined the layout and finishes, and even designed and built our own custom pool to reflect our style.
What makes it even more meaningful is that this house is what sparked our business. As we poured ourselves into renovating our own home, we realized how much we loved creating beautiful, functional spaces. Those projects became the foundation for what is now our exterior design business, and they continue to inspire us every day. Our dream is to eventually expand into interior design as well, so in many ways, this home is where it all began.
We talk about moving one day, and what our next home will be. But It will be hard for us to leave this place, it is incredibly sentimental because it’s the place that shaped our family, our careers, and the life we’ve built together. 
What are some of your favorite everyday rituals or routines that happen here?
“Morning coffee while the house is still quiet is one of my favorites” (Bronz). In the evenings, we love winding down together in the living room, whether it’s watching a show, talking about our day, or just enjoying being home together. 
Where do you spend most of your time at home?
Definitely our living room. Whether we’re watching a movie, playing with our daughter, or just catching up after work, that’s where we naturally gather. 
What are your favorite local businesses, makers, or sources for home inspiration?
I love following interior designers my favorite is probably Kelly Wearstler, I love the way she layers natural materials, rich textures, and timeless elements to create spaces that feel both elevated and effortlessly lived in. While my own style is a bit softer, I’m not on her level yet, I find myself constantly inspired by her cool approach to design and her ability to make every space feel unique. It’s encouraged me to focus less on trends and more on creating a home that feels personal and collected. 
What’s next for this space? Any future dreams or projects on the horizon?
Our home is definitely still evolving. I even told Jaimee I wasn’t sure I was ready to have it photographed because, in my mind, the house is not where I want it to be lol. That’s the funny thing about designing your own home, you always see the next project.
At the top of my list is a complete kitchen transformation. I dream of vein cut travertine countertops and a full-height backsplash with light oak cabinetry!!!! Also would love to plaster the walls throughout the entire house and add a custom bar area in our dining room (haha).
Since we work in design and construction, I don’t think the project list will ever truly end, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our home is always evolving right alongside us.
