Mackenzie & Geoff wanted their engagement photos to be European garden themed and I have always, always, always wanted to getaway to the English Countryside- The Cotswolds specifically is so dreamy to me- and so I knew we had to make this happen. And since traveling across seas wasn’t an option right this second because of Covid, I knew that The Hamilton House would be a very close match for their *inspired* Cotswolds Engagement Photos. The Hamilton House sits right on the Maine and New Hampshire border and if you knew anything about New England, you know that it is filled with historical properties- I joked with someone a couple days ago that everyone in New England lives in a 100 year old home! The Hamilton House a gorgeous spot, screaming with European flair from it’s European gardens with trimmed boxwood bushes to it’s four stately chimneys and then the cherry on top is exactly where it’s situated– on top of a hill, overlooking a river. It’s everything your would want in an inspired Cotswolds engagement session. And it amazes me that we are literally in the middle of the countryside but Boston is just a short drive away. Ah, the charm of New England will never be lost on me!
It was so nice to get to meet Mackenzie and Geoff before their wedding next year. And Mackenzie & Geoff are such an elegant couple who knew how to move their bodies perfectly together and this European venue complemented them so well. They will be getting married next summer at The Point in mid-coast Maine.
