I photographed this Camden Maine ocean front wedding a couple weeks ago. It rained, yet again, almost the entire day and not just the light sprinkles but showers constantly. But the couple, Paige and Connor, couldn’t have cared less. And man, this couple, they are so in love- not in the gushy, constant PDA type of way but they spent the entire night together on the dance floor, enjoyed moments away from the wedding just dancing on the docks. So cute to watch!
Paige got ready with her bridesmaids in Camden with a beautiful view of the ocean and Camden harbor. Connor got ready just a couple blocks down in Camden with his groosmen and groomsgirl (yay for mixing things up!) at the 16 Bay View Hotel which I’ve convinced my husband to take me to sometime this Fall because the colors of mid-coast Maine along with Camden’s quaint atmosphere, the ocean front, and this hotels luxury feel made it definitely a keeper in my book.
Paige and Connor had their First Look right in front of the Camden Library with the harbor in the back. We managed to sneak in a few photos for before the rain started and then, thankfully, we found a spot where there was enough tree coverage that we could take some more bridal party photos with the help of groomsmen holding back branches. The couple decided last minute to go for the outdoor ceremony and I’m so glad they did!
They said I Do, traveled in a vintage car, and we made our way through Camden’s winding roads to some cows that we took photos with before heading back for oysters at cocktail hour in Rockport Maine. The wedding guests spent the entire night on the dance floor with the occasional guest slipping away to smoke some cigars, bite on late night apps, and take in the view of Rockport harbor.
